Message appears in display.

Cannot turn key.

Steering column lock not working.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Diagnostics runs when key is inserted.

Fault criteria:

Control module on-board diagnostics has detected a EEPROM error.

System reaction to a fault:

The control module does not allow starter motor cranking.

Steering column lock deactivated.
