On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
| Diagnostics runs when key is inserted. |
Fault criteria:
| Control module on-board diagnostics has detected a "Timeout" fault. |
System reaction to a fault:
| Steering column lock deactivated. |
| The control module does not allow starter motor cranking. |

The DTC is reported from the ISM and can be generated if communication between the CIM and ISM is faulty.
