Engine running longer than 60 s. |
The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated: |
Fault criteria:
Coolant temperature has not exceeded 70°C 3 minutes after coolant temperature has exceeded 80°C for 5 seconds. |

System reaction to a fault:
The control module uses 0°C as a substitute value. |
OK report:
Input conditions fulfilled without a fault reported. |
Checking the wiring harness
• | Faults in the control module female connector can be the cause of the DTC. Check the connector with respect to oxidation, depressed pins and pin clamping force. |
• | Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force. |
