Fault symptom
Fault indicator lamp (for further information see WIS Fault diagnosis, general)
Performance loss.
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Engine speed between 1250 - 1500 and fuel quantity between 10 - 12.5 mg/combustion. |
Engine speed between 1500 - 1750 and fuel quantity between 10 - 20 mg/combustion. |
Engine speed between 1750 - 2750 and fuel quantity between 10 - 27.5 mg/combustion. |
NONE of the following DTCs must be detected: |
P0100, P0101, P0102, P0103 |
Fault criteria:
Current EGR flow below requested EGR flow. |
DTC limit between 150 - 300 mg air/combustion depending on the difference between fuel/combustion and rpm. |
System reaction to a fault:
Limp Home, engine torque limitation. |
Diagnostic help
EGR valve closes after one minute at idling speed.
