Higher idling speed.
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:

Fault criteria:
| The lead between control module pin B16 and generator pin 1 (D+) is short-circuited to B+ for more than 1 s. | 
Dependent:
System reaction to a fault:
| Control module continues working with the higher idling function. | 
OK report:
| Fault criteria NOT fulfilled for 2 s. | 
Fault handling:
| Type III without Check Engine. |

Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
