| Background |
In accordance with the instructions for pre-delivery service the towing eye must be removed and placed in the toolbox in the luggage compartment. From and including M04 the spare wheel has been turned and the toolbox is located under the wheel. This means that the spare wheel must be removed so that the towing eye can be added. In the 2004-2 edition of WIS the pre-delivery service instructions in step 21 will be changed to the following:
"Remove the towing eye, close the cover, remove the spare wheel and place the towing eye in the toolbox. Fit the spare wheel."
