Checking cylinder head flatness

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2004 / 2. Engine / 4-cylinder diesel / Basic engine / Adjustment/replacement / Checking cylinder head flatness

1.	Clean the cylinder head sealing surfaces.

2.	Using a straight-edge rule and a feeler gauge, measure for any distortion along the length, breadth and diagonal of the cylinder head. Planing the cylinder head is prohibited.
