Engine oil temperature sensor (559)

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2004 / 2. Engine / 4-cylinder diesel / Engine management system PSG16 / Adjustment/replacement / Engine oil temperature sensor (559)

To remove

1.	Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.

2.	Unplug the sensor's connector.

3.	Place a receptacle under the engine.

4.	Remove the engine oil temperature sensor.

To fit

1.	Fit the engine oil temperature sensor using a new seal.

2.	Plug in the sensor.

3.	Fit the lower engine cover.

4.	Lower the car and fill the system with engine oil. Refer to the recommendations under Lubricants .

5.	Check the oil level. Top up if necessary.
