Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan and CV, M04- with B207.
The main reason for this problem is that the Bosch sensor has a natural
behaviour that cause an overshoot on the signal, as long as the sensor is
cold. Normally the output signal is not higher than 1V during this overshoot.
But under some circumstance the output signal can show higher value than 1V
during the overshoot.
O2-sensor front.
Moisture is one thing that could cause this abnormal high overshoot.
When the car is stored for a long time, moisture is stored in the exhaust
system and in the sensor, this moisture could cause high output signal.
If the car has been stored longer then 1 month, please delete the DTC
and ask the customer to return if the MIL is lighted again to replace the
front O2-sensor.
If the car has lower mileage then 800km, please delete the DTC and ask
the customer to return if the MIL is lighted again to replace the front O2-sensor.
