Fault symptom

Airbag warning lamp is lit

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:

Incorrect response from sensor.

System reaction to a fault:

•The airbag system should be considered non-operational. There may, however, be some functionality.
•The control module ignores the activation command from the sensor as long as a fault is active.
