On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Engine speed less than 5000 rpm. |
Fault criteria:
Signal on control module sensor input less than -20 kg/h for more than 0.6 seconds. |
Dependent:
System reaction to a fault:
Limp Home, engine torque limitation. |
EGR turned off in case of fault. |
The control module uses 800 kg/h as a substitute value. |
OK report:
Input conditions fulfilled without a fault reported. |
Checking the wiring harness
• | Faults in the control module female connector can be the cause of the DTC. Check the connector with respect to oxidation, depressed pins and pin clamping force. |
• | Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force. |
