Malfunction when lowering window.
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
| Diagnostics run when power window is operated. |
Fault criteria:
| Current through the engine is greater than the permitted calibrated value. |
System reaction to a fault:
| For every new driving cycle, the motor tries to lower the window when the button is pressed. |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
