Enable criteria:
| The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated: |
Fault criteria:
| The control module internal power supply circuit to the sensors detects a short-circuit to ground. |
System reaction to a fault:
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.

| The DTC can be generated due to: |
| • | The power supply to one of the sensors is intermittently short-circuited to ground. |
| • | One of the sensors if faulty. |
| • | Internal control module fault |
| • | The DTC can be generated if standard sensor diagnosis does not detect the fault. |
