Fuel filter bracket, Z19 DTH

To remove


1. Unplug the preheater connector (upper) (A).


2. Unplug the water level sensor connector (under the filter) (B).


3. Carefully pull the fuel filter housing out and up from the bracket. Place it to one side. Note that the system remains closed.

4. Remove the fuel filter bracket.

- Open the service opening for the fresh air filter

- Remove the nuts (A) (x3)


- Remove the reinforcement plate

- Remove the preheating wiring harness on the fuel filter bracket (B)


To fit


1. Fit the fuel filter bracket (B)


- Fit the preheating wiring harness on the fuel filter bracket (B).

- Fit the reinforcement plate

- Fit the nuts (3x) (A)

Tightening torque (25 Nm)

- Close the service opening for the fresh air filter

2. Fit the fuel filter housing in the bracket.

3. Plug in the water level sensor's connector (B).


4. Plug in the preheater connector (upper) (A).
