BACKGROUND |
Customer experience in some cases, that the engine could have a noise that make it sound like a diesel engine at, idling and/or at low engine rpm.
CONDITIONS |
The noise is caused by pulsation in the fuel pipe, when the injection valves are opening/closing, and the fuel pipe vibrate against the body.
SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION |
Engine sounds as a diesel engine.
ACTION |
Follow the fuel line, from the fuel tank to the fuel distribution pipe at the intake manifold, and ensure that the fuel pipe does not contact the body along the routing.
If the fuel pipes touches the body, then the fuel pipe must be detached and adjusted to ensure a play between the fuel pipe and the body in order to avoid the noise issue.
