Antenna, radio, window glass (625), 4D
Integrated in rear window.
AM and FM band radio reception.
Metal wire on rear window.
The amplifier located in the right-hand C-pillar amplifies the antenna signal. The antenna amplifier is available in two versions depending on whether one or both of the rear window FM antennas are used. An antenna filter, which is located on the left-hand C-pillar, grounds the electrical heating coil but blocks the antenna signal from ground.
Antenna system 1
1.
AM antenna in a separate loop at the top of the rear window.
2.
FM1 antenna in a common connection with the electric heating coil. In order that the antenna signal should not interfere with the heating coil power supply, the amplifier contains a filter that blocks the antenna signal. The heating coil ground side contains an antenna filter which blocks the antenna signal from ground.
3.
The electrically heated rear window is connected to the antenna amplifier and filter. A capacitor prevents the voltage from reaching the antenna amplifier. The electrically heated rear window is grounded through the antenna filter.
The amplified antenna signal is supplied to the radio via the coaxial cable.
Antenna system 2

3.
FM2 antenna connected to the same connector as the AM antenna on the rear window. It is connected to a loop across the AM antenna and to the electric heating element.

The electrically heated rear window is connected to the antenna amplifier and filter. A capacitor prevents the voltage from reaching the antenna amplifier. The electrically heated rear window is grounded through the antenna filter.
