Receiver, high-pressure pipe, B207

Important

The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately.


To remove


1. Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see Draining and filling the refrigerant .

2. Dismantle the upper engine cover.


3. Dismantle PAD connection on the front right structural member. Plug the openings.


4. Dismantle the high pressure pipe's PAD connection from the receiver. Plug the openings.

5. Lift out the receiver's high pressure pipe.


To fit


1. Adjust the oil quantity in the A/C system. See Filling and adjusting the compressor oil .

2. Insert the receiver's high pressure pipe into position.


3. Replace the sealing washer and fit the receiver high pressure pipe to the receiver.

Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 lbf ft)

4. Replace the sealing washer and fit the receiver high pressure pipe to the PAD connection on the front right structural member.

Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 lbf ft)

5. Fit the upper engine cover.


6. Vacuum pump and fill the A/C system with refrigerant. See Draining and filling the refrigerant .

7. Test the A/C system. See A/C system performance test
