The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately. |

| 1. |
Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see
Draining and filling the refrigerant

| 2. |
Dismantle the upper engine cover.
|
|
| 3. |
Dismantle PAD connection on the front right structural member. Plug the openings.
|
|
| 4. |
Dismantle the high pressure pipe's PAD connection from the receiver. Plug the openings.
|
|
| 5. |
Lift out the receiver's high pressure pipe.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Adjust the oil quantity in the A/C system. See
Filling and adjusting the compressor oil

| 2. |
Insert the receiver's high pressure pipe into position.
|
|
| 3. |
Replace the sealing washer and fit the receiver high pressure pipe to the receiver.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 lbf ft) |

| 4. |
Replace the sealing washer and fit the receiver high pressure pipe to the PAD connection on the front right structural member.
Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 lbf ft) |

Fit the upper engine cover.

| 6. |
Vacuum pump and fill the A/C system with refrigerant. See
Draining and filling the refrigerant
