The electrically heated rear window is activated by pushing a button on the ACC/MCC panel or automatically by the ACC. On cars with MCC there is no automatic activation. Provided that the engine is running, in order to not overload the battery, the electrically heated rear window will be activated. The warming up time is normally 12 minutes. The rear window is heated by a current which first passes through the antenna amplifier and then through the rear window heating element before being grounded via an antenna filter.

Provided that the engine is running, in order to not overload the battery, the electrically heated rear window and door mirrors will be activated. The heated rear window can only be activated when the soft top is raised The warming up time is normally 12 minutes. The rear window is heated by a current which passes through the rear window heating element.
