Connecting seat with control module
The motor is connected to the seat control module (357k) pin 55 and 54. The information on the required backrest adjustment comes from the switch (357) to the control module. The control module uses the information from the switch to supply power to and ground the motor. The outputs are pole-reversed to change the direction of rotation of the motor.
Connecting seat with relay unit
The motor is connected to the switch unit pins 5 and 11, depending on the switch's position, the motor is voltage fed and ground via the switch unit. The polarity of the outputs are reversed to change the motor's direction of rotation.
