To adjust the legroom.

The DC motor which drives a screw in respective right and left seat rails, the screw is fixed on the seat chassis and the nut is fixed on the floor rail for respective sides.
Connect |
The motor is connected to the seat control module (357Dk) pin 60 and 64. The information on the required seat length adjustment comes from the switch (357D) to the control module. The control module uses the information from the switch to supply power to and ground the motor. The outputs are pole-reversed to change the direction of rotation of the motor.
The separate Easy Entry motor in the CV has been discontinued progressively during M05.5 and its function taken over by the length adjustment motor.
