On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:

Control module detects a speed variation among the different wheel sensors

System reaction to a fault:

No ABS function

No TCS/ESP function

Diagnosis regards:

IMPORTANT

The DTC can be generated if standard sensor diagnosis does not detect the fault.

The DTC can be generated due to:

One of the sensors' signal leads has an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.

One of the sensors if faulty.
