On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Engine running and not in limp home mode.

•	Exceptions:

Oil temperature < 20 º C

Accelerator pedal position <10 %.

Driver not driving in 2nd gear.

•	Normal exceptions for shifting error DTC:

Selector lever not in position D.

During shifting.

Battery voltage < 10.5 Volt.

•	Malfunction in one of the following systems:

Input speed.

Output speed.

Gear selector position sensor

Gearbox Fluid Temperature Sensor

Engine speed.

ABS vehicle speed.

Accelerator pedal position.

Fault criteria:

Gear ratio measured by the control module varies more than 20 % from the expected value.

System reaction to a fault:

Limp home
