Fuel regulator lambda sensor, removing and fitting

To remove

Caution

Remove the lambda sensor only on a warm engine.


1. Remove the engine protection cover.

2. Undo the cable set connector for the fuel regulator lambda sensor (1) and remove the cable set from the holder.


3. Remove the fuel regulator lambda sensor (2) from the exhaust manifold using KM-6129 ( 83 96 350 Oxygen sensor dismantling sleeve) ).


To fit

Caution

Moisten the lambda sensor threads with special grease (black) when reusing the fuel regulator lambda sensor.


1. Fit the fuel regulator lambda sensor into the exhaust pipe with KM-6129 (83 96 350 Oxygen sensor dismantling sleeve ) - tightening torque 30 Nm.

2. Connect the cable set connector for the fuel regulation lambda sensor - fasten the cable set.

3. Fit the engine cover.
