Knock sensor, removing and fitting

To remove


1. Take off the knock sensor cable set connector (1).

2. Remove the knock sensor (2) from the engine block.


Caution

The knock sensor tightening torque must be maintained under all circumstances or operating disturbances may arise.


To fit


1. Fit the knock sensor to the engine block - tightening torque 20 Nm.

2. Connect the knock sensor cable set connector - note the cable routing.
