Background

Signal interference between the EHPS and the engine control module.

In the case of customer complaint, the following procedure must be carried out.

Symptom description

- No power assistance for the power steering system.

- Diagnostic trouble code C1550-61 in the EHPS control module.

Note

Do not replace the power steering unit (745) in the event of diagnostic trouble code C1550-61.



• Connect Tech 2 with version 131.000.

• Select "Add" EHPS control module.
