To remove

|
Remove the anti-roll bar (3) from the subframe.
4 x Unscrew bolt. Instructions: Mark the fitting position.

|
Remove the steering gear (2) with EHPS supply unit (1) from the subframe.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the rear torque rod (4) from the subframe
2 x Unscrew bolt
|
|
5.
|
Remove the right-hand link arm (2) from the front axle beam
3 x Unscrew bolt
|
|
6.
|
Remove the left-hand link arm (3) from the front axle beam
3 x Unscrew bolt
|
|
7.
|
Remove radiator holder (1) left and right
1 x Unscrew bolt
|
|
8.
|
Lift away the subframe from the trolley lift.
Instructions: One more technician is necessary.
To fit
|
|
9.
|
Fit the new front axle beam on the subframe.
Instructions: 2 technicians necessary
|
|
10.
|
Fit radiator holder (1) left and right
1 x Screw in bolt (35 Nm)
|
|
11.
|
Fit the right-hand link arm (2) on the front axle beam
3 x Screw in new bolt (90 Nm + 75° + 15°)
|
|
12.
|
Fit the left-hand link arm (3) on the front axle beam
3 x Screw in new bolt (90 Nm + 75° + 15°)
|
|
13.
|
Fit the rear torque support (4) on the subframe
2 x Screw in bolt (60 Nm)
|
|
14.
|
Fit the steering gear (2) with EHPS supply unit (1) on the subframe
Fit anti-roll bar (3) on the front axle beam
4 x Screw in bolt (20 Nm)
