Rattling noise from front shock absorber when driving on an uneven surface at speeds below 20 km/h.
Conditions
Rattling noise from front shock absorber when driving on an uneven surface at speeds below 20 km/h. The noise comes from inside the shock absorber when the piston is at dead centre position.
Procedure
Replace both MacPherson struts and the springs, see
MacPherson strut, dismantling and assembling.
Note

The lower spring mounting of the MacPherson strut has been changed and accordingly the spring must also be replaced.
