B-pillar decor, front door

To remove


1. Open the window fully.

2. Remove the Front door trim .

3. Remove the Front window frame cover .

4. Remove the outer weatherstrip using 82 93 474 Removal tool .


5. Loosen the rear U-moulding and pull it up to gain access to the bolts.

6. Remove the screws.

7. Pull back on the decor and lift it away.


To fit


1. Place the U-moulding in the bottom of the rail. Press in the moulding using 82 93 474 Removal tool . Fit the moulding down to the bottom screw hole. Align so that the corner of the decor fits against the rubber moulding.


2. Press down the decor against the side window while positioning the rear part of the decor.

3. Check the fit of the decor against the top corner.

4. Fit the decor screws. Take care when fitting the screws so that the moulding is not pulled out of the rail.

5. Press the moulding in place using 82 93 474 Removal tool


6. Fit the window frame cover .

7. Plug in the door trim connector.

8. Check the operation of the window and the fit of the moulding.

9. Fit the outer weatherstrip.

10. Fit the door trim .
