Flashing light with trailer connected

Saab 9-3 M03- with tow bar.
9-3 SS is sensitive for poor connections between the car and the trailer.
The trailer module can only support an electrical load of 100W for tail lights
on the trailer, (poor ground connections will increase the electrical load).

Indicators flashing too fast.

No light on the trailer.

Read out the SW in REC, if you have SW 12804420 (12804420=TIS
2003-3 or later) use trailer module with P/N 12803356. (see label on the trailer
module).

|
If you have one feed wire for both L and R tail light on the trailer
or if the trailer has a jump wire between L and R tail light, use trailer
module P/N12803356 and SW 12804420 (12804420=TIS 2003-3 or later) for REC.

|
New trailer module P/N 12803356 and REC with old S/W (before TIS2003-3).
In some of those cases REC could not detect trailer connected and not light
up the trailer. Update to the new S/W in REC 12804420 or later.
