         The reinforcing bow is located between the third and fourth bow.  |

         This is not counted as a bow.  | 
      
| Removing | 
| 1. | 
        Operate the soft top half way down and secure it with
        
         82 93 847 Soft top support
        
        to prevent it falling down when the hydraulic pressure drops.
         
        
         |

| 2. | 
        Remove the seal by pulling it out of the middle part of the U-shaped rail. Unhook the upper part of the seal from the fastener. Let the seal hang.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Unhook the outer roof attaching profiles from the rear rails.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Remove the mounting for the hydraulic lines from the right-hand side of the reinforcing bow.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Remove the reinforcing bow bolts on the rear rails. Lift out the reinforcing bow.

      |
| Fitting | 
| 1. | 
        Insert the reinforcing bow between the insulation of the outer roof and the headlining.
         | 
      |
| 2. | 
        Put the reinforcing bow and the bows' guide straps in mounting position. Fit the bolts.
         Tightening torque: 10 Nm  
        
         | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Fit the hydraulic line holder on the right-hand side of the reinforcing bow.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Hook the outer roof attaching profiles to the rear rails.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Fit the rear rail seals. Hook the top part of the seal to the mounting and then press it into the rail
         
        
         | 
      |
| 6. | 
        Remove the soft top support and raise the soft top.
         |
