Fault symptom
Cruise control not working.
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Vehicle speed over 35 km/h |
Engine speed over 1500 rpm. |
Fault criteria:
When the clutch switch has not changed status during shifting after 25 consecutive fault indications. |
System reaction to a fault:
Control module uses substitute value "Clutch switch ON" so that the cruise control does not function. |
Checking the wiring harness
• | Faults in the control module female connector can be the cause of the DTC. Check the connector with respect to oxidation, depressed pins and pin clamping force. |
• | Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force. |
