Fault symptom
Malfunction Indicator Lamp
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Motor running more than 5 s. |
Fault criteria:
When the voltage at the output during ignition is lower than 2.15 V or lower than 2.35 V with the engine running. |
OK report:
No fault for 240 seconds. |

Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
