Symptom: Memory functions not working
Output is switched off, tries however to activate the engine once each time the ignition is switched on.

On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Immediately after a soft start is completed. |
Enable criteria:
When seat operation is permitted. |
Fault criteria:
Voltage on the control module output is below 6 ±0.2V. |
System reaction to a fault:
Output is switched off, tries however to activate the engine once each time the ignition is switched on. |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
