Flickering pressure indicator in MIU.
Misfiring
Jerky movements.
Performance loss.
Ignition Coil Trig Cylinder 1 Circuit, Short to Ground

On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Fault criteria:
Output voltage below 2 V when the control module is not grounding. |
The condition exists for more than 1 s. |
Dependent:
System reaction to a fault:
Fuel to the injector in question is cut off. |
Fuel adaption is blocked and reset. |
OK report:
Fault criteria NOT fulfilled for 2 s. |

Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
Diagnostic help
