Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction

Fault symptom

TCS/ESP warning lamp comes on.

Cruise control not working.

On-board diagnosis

Enable criteria:

Test 1
At least 500 metres of normal driving at a speed over 15 km/h.
Five approved gearchanges.
Test 2
Speed over 15 km/h and normal driving for more than 5 km.
20 approved gearchanges.

Fault criteria:

Test 1
When the clutch switch has not changed status during shifting after 5 consecutive fault indications.
Test 2
When the clutch switch has not changed status during shifting after 20 consecutive fault indications.

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:

Test 1 checks if the control module input is open.
Test 1 checks if the control module input is short circuited to B+.
