Fault symptom

Airbag warning lamp on

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

With ignition on.

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:

Control module receives incorrect ID from PPS

System reaction to a fault:

•	Control module sets a substitute value for the passenger airbag and seat-belt tensioner.

•	Airbag warning lamp is lit
