Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Light switch in position 2. |
Fault criteria:
Current consumption is greater than 30 A for more than 12 ms. |
System reaction to a fault:
Control module output is switched off. |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
Diagnostic help
If the vehicle has Xenon headlights, the ignition must be ON for 30 seconds for this to be detected.
