Oil sump

Oil sump

To remove


1. Place the engine on a stand.

2. Drain the engine oil

3. Rotate the engine 180° on the stand.

4. Remove the oil sump's insulation.

5. Remove the front and rear bolts from the oil sump using 32 025 015 Extension piece Ribe M7 .


6. Remove the side bolts on the oil sump using 32 025 016 Extension piece Ribe M8 .

7. Remove the oil sump.

8. Remove the oil level sensor.

9. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose.

10. Remove the oil separator cover.


To fit


1. Fit the oil separator cover in the oil sump.

2. Fit the crankcase ventilation hose.

3. Fit the oil level sensor.

Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)

4. Apply 90 543 772 Silicone flange sealant to the oil sump sealing surface.

5. Fit the oil sump.


6. Fit the side bolts using 32 025 016 Extension piece Ribe M8 . Tighten the front and rear bolts with 32 025 015 Extension piece Ribe M7

Tightening torque, M6, 9 Nm (7 lbf ft)

Tightening torque, M8 25 Nm (18 lbf ft)

7. Fit the oil sump's insulation.

8. Remove the engine from the engine stand.
