Front exhaust temperature sensor (602F)

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2007 / 2. Engine / 4-cylinder diesel / Exhaust emission control system / Adjustment/replacement / Front exhaust temperature sensor (602F)

To remove

1.	Raise the car.

2.	Detach the temperature sensor from the forward catalytic converter.

3.	Detach the cable from its fixing.

4.	Undo the front part of the right wing liner.

5.	Remove the temperature sensor connector and lower down the cable.

To fit

1.	Plug in the temperature sensor connector and secure it.

2.	Fit the wing liner.

3.	Secure the cable.

4.	Lubricate the threads sparingly with 30 20 971 Screw-thread paste and fit the temperature sensor. Tightening torque 45 Nm (33 lbf ft).
