Ignition transformer, xenon lamp

HIGH TENSION

Xenon lamp actuators and ignition transformers generate voltages of over 23,000V. Such voltages can be lethal for persons with heart problems or who have a pacemaker. Therefore, handle this system with great respect and turn off the ignition before touching any of the parts in the system.

To remove


1. Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position.

2. Remove the protective cover of the Xenon lamp.


3. Unplug the ignition transformer connector.

4. Remove the ignition transformer.


To fit


1. Fit the ignition transformer.


2. Plug in the ignition transformer connector.

3. Fit the protective cover of the Xenon lamp.
