Main beam halogen bulb

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2007 / 3. Electrical System / Lighting and signalling systems / Exterior lighting / Adjustment/replacement / Main beam halogen bulb

To remove

1.	LH: Move the radiator hose to the side and remove the battery cover.

2.	LH: Remove the air inlet pipe from the lower battery cover.

3.	Remove the protective cover of the headlamp.

4.	Undo the bulb socket by turning it anticlockwise slightly and pulling it out of the reflector.

5.	Remove the bulb from the bulb socket.

To fit

Important

When changing a bulb, select a new bulb of the correct rating to prevent the components being damaged.

1.	Fit the bulb in the bulb socket.

2.	Fit the bulb socket by turning it clockwise until secure.

3.	Fit the protective cover of the headlamp.

4.	LH: Fit the air inlet pipe to the lower battery cover.

5.	LH: Fit the battery cover.

6.	LH: Refit the radiator hose.
