No DTCs stored with the fault symptom in question.

IMPORTANT

Before starting work, contact and information OnStar Customer Care (OCC) that you will be servicing the unit.

The fault may be due to:

The vehicle was in an area with poor coverage.
The mobile network in the area was down.
If "OnStar request ended" is heard before the "White Dot" is pressed when an "OnStar Services" call has been selected. At this time, the system was connected to the network but could not maintain the connection. If there are several call attempts with this result, contact Onstar Technical Assistance Center.
If an "Emergency" call can be connected, but not an OnStar Customer Care call, the fault may be that the local section of the mobile network does not recognise the system in the vehicle.
