OnStar control module (673), CV

To remove


1. Carry out procedures before removing a control module .

2. Remove the front luggage compartment trim .


3. Remove the bracket screws.


Important

Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection .


4. Unplug the connectors.


5. Remove the OnStar control module with bracket.


6. Remove the bracket from the OnStar control module.


To fit


1. Fit the bracket to the OnStar control module.

2. Put the OnStar control module in its installation position.


Important

Take care when plugging in the connector so as not to damage or press out the pins/sleeves in the connector. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection .


3. Plug in the connector.


4. Fit the bracket screws.


5. Fit the front luggage compartment trim .


6. Carry out procedures after changing a control module .

7. Carry out reconfiguration of the OnStar-system .
