This method involves destructive disassembly. It is not possible to refit the old bush. |

Remove the subframe
.

| 2. |
Remove the impact buffer.
|
|
| 3. |
Cut away the rubber. Saw or cut a groove on both sides. Break off the flange from the bush to make room for the support.

Press out the bush using the pullrod from
89 96 779 Set of press sleeves, front assembly
and
89 96 928 Removal tool, rear subframe bushes
.

| To fit |

Press in the bush using the pullrod from
89 96 779 Set of press sleeves, front assembly
and
89 96 910 Fitting tool, rear subframe bushes
.
Fit the bush with the rubber heels in the car's longitudinal direction. Make sure the bush is pressed in straight.

Fit the impact buffer.

Fit the subframe
