B-pillar decor, rear door

To remove


1. Open the window fully.

2. Remove Rear door trim .

3. Remove the window frame cover .

4. Remove the outer weatherstrip using 82 93 474 Removal tool .


5. Loosen the U-moulding and pull it out of the rail.


6. Remove the decor screws.

7. Remove the forward side moulding.

8. Lift away the decor.


To fit


1. Position the decor and fit the screws.


2. Fit the front side moulding. Make sure that the lower part fits snugly against the door side moulding.

3. Fit the U-moulding in the decor by prodding it down a short way. Press in the moulding against the decor. check the function of the window and the fit of the moulding.

4. Fit the outer weatherstrip. Raise and lower the window a few times to check its operation.


5. Fit the door trim .

6. Fit the window frame cover .
