The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately. |

Put the car on a lift.
|
|
| 2. |
Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see
Draining and filling the refrigerant
.

|
| 3. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the spoiler shield.
|
|
| 5. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the
front bumper shell.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the right side cover.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the screws holding the receiver to the radiator.
|
|
| 9. |
Detach the power steering pipe from the charge air cooler.
|
|
| 10. |
Remove the nuts from the PAD connections.
|
|
| 11. |
Dismantle the condenser's upper screws.
|
|
| 12. |
Lift up the condenser from the lower support. At the same time, pull the PAD connections out of the condenser. Plug the openings.

| 13. |
Lower the condenser.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Adjust the oil quantity in the A/C system. See
Filling and adjusting the compressor oil

| 2. |
Fit new seals on the PAD connections.
|
|
| 3. |
Reposition the condenser. At the same time, attach the PAD connection to the condenser. Fit the condenser to the charge air cooler.

| 4. |
Tighten the PAD connection.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 lbf ft)
|
|
| 5. |
Fit the screws holding the receiver to the radiator.
|
|
| 6. |
Fit the right side cover.
|
|
| 7. |
Fit the power steering pipe to the charge air cooler.
|
|
| 8. |
Fit the
front bumper shell

|
| 9. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 10. |
Fit the spoiler shield.
|
|
| 11. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 12. |
Vacuum pump and fill the A/C system with refrigerant. See
