Camshaft cover, removing and fitting

Remove the engine cover.
|

Remove the crankcase ventilation hoses (3) from the camshaft cover.
|
4.
|
Remove the cable set connector (4) from the sensor for the coolant temperature.
|
5.
|
Remove the coolant line (5) from the thermostat housing, camshaft cover and intake manifold - lay the coolant line to one side.

6.
|
Remove the camshaft cover (6) from the cylinder head.

Clean the sealing surfaces and remove remains of sealant.
Apply adhesive sealant (black) to the sealing surfaces (2).
|

|
Fit new gaskets (3) to the camshaft cover - the gasket sealing lips must be inserted into the groove in the camshaft cover.
|
3.
|
Fit the camshaft cover onto the cylinder head - tightening torque 8 Nm.
|
4.
|
Fit the engine vent hoses to the cylinder head.
