Strap, tank mounting

To remove


1. Place the car on a lift.

2. Raise the car.

3. Remove the tank strap.

• If both tank straps are to be replaced then remove and fit them one at a time.

• Place a column lift under the tank.

• Remove the connector (A) from its bracket.


• Remove the bolts (B) for the tank strap (C).


• Remove the tank strap (C).


To fit


1. Fit the tank strap.

• Secure the tank strap (C) and fit the bolts (B).


• Remove the column lift.

• Fit the connector (A) to its bracket.


2. Lower the car.

Check that components and connections have not sustained damage.
