Switch throttle vacuum box, removing and fitting

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2008 / 2. Engine / 1.8 XE petrol / Simtec engine management system / Adjustment/replacement / Switch throttle vacuum box, removing and fitting

To remove

1.	Remove the engine control module - see Engine control module, removing and fitting .

2.	Undo the control arm (1).

3.	Pull off the vacuum hose (2).

4.	Remove the retaining bolts (arrow)and remove the switch throttle vacuum box.

To fit

1.	Fit the switch throttle vacuum box to the intake manifold.

2.	Attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum box.

3.	Fit the control arm.

4.	Fit the engine control module - see Engine control module, removing and fitting .
