Throttle body failure (DTR diesel engine)

Saab 9-3 TTiD (DTR) 180 Hp M08+09 up to VIN 91020965.
Due to manufacturing process problem at the supplier, water intrusion
can cause internal failure in the throttle body.

Car won't start and sounds like there is no compression due to
the throttle being closed during cranking.
|
|
•
|
Diagnosis is not active during cranking and therefore no fault
codes are set Remove hose from throttle body and observe the throttle flap
during cranking.
|
|
•
|
Engine dips or goes in limp home mode and MIL ( Check Engine )
warning and failure code P1125 - 21 or P1125 - 62 are set.
|
Replace throttle body according to WIS/TIS 2 Web.
